Match report Ashby won the toss and elected to bat against a young Barrow U13s team. Steady batting by Josh Ellwood (26 no) and Harry Rowley (11) gave a good foundation for a big score. They were well supported by Jack Hoult (15), Fraser Hearfield (11) and some big hitting by Jack Rowley (24). Ashby finished on 149-8 off 20 overs.

Two U11s bowlers (William Legg and Fraser Hearfield) opened the bowling and kept the score down. Dan Cooper (2-0-4-2) was introduced to the attach and despite bowling up hill bowled with pace and accuracy and had the Barrow batsmen heading back to the clubhouse. After nine overs the heavens opened and the match was abandoned with Barrow 30-3.
