Andrew Wilson profile
Andrew "Wilber, Wils" Wilson
Right hand top order batsmen Right arm medium fast bowler Wilber joined Hastings in 1989 from Hinckley Town and played with the club until 1994 when he moved to Walton on Trent. Wilber will be remembered for "The Mullett", turning purple whilst bowling, fishermans tales, handbrake turning a green mini clubman into a very tight parking spot on the way to pub from the pub and starting his run up from the railway bank ! But his two main cricketing memories will be 5 overs 5 maidens 9 for 0 against Hastings for Ravenstone as a junior in 1982 and taking all 10 against Long Eaton for Hastings in the early 90's
