Match report Ashby won the toss and elected to bat (as usual!).

Despite a steady start Ashby lost 3 quick wickets and were struggling at 38/3. Then an excellent partnership between in form Harry Rowley (25 no) and Dan Cooper 26 no)steadied the team. Both batsmen retired and were replaced by Jack Rowley (25 no which included a 6 over mid wicket) and Jack Mills (23) who put on 49 before Jack Mills was given out LBW. Good batting at the end by Bertie Rushton (9 no) meant Ashby finished on 139/6 off 20 overs.

Ashby bowlers made a great start with Josh Ellwood taking 2 wickets in two balls
(3/9) meant Grace Dieu were struggling at 13/4 off 5 overs. Dan Cooper (3/8)bowled fast and on the stumps and also taking two wickets in two balls and was well supported by Jack Rowley (2/2). Jack Mills (1/2) took the last wicket as Grace Dieu were bowled out for 27. As usual some good fielding with catches from Alex Deakin, Bertie Rushton, Luke Norman, Dan Cooper and Jack Hoult.
